Our designs are inspired by the rich tapestry of Italian culture—its art, architecture, and the effortless sophistication expressed by its people. We draw from the golden streets of Florence, the serene piazzas of Rome and the sunlit Amalfi Coast to craft timeless loafers that honour both tradition and modernity.
Mocasso
"Mocasso" is the local dialect word used in Milan meaning moccasin loafer.
I have always been a loafer lover and the idea for Mocasso came to me when I was looking for a loafer which was versatile, in rich materials, was well made and stylish. I was just frustrated, I could find on the market any shoes to match my search so I decided to design them myself.
Mocasso are inspired by the best loafers of the past and I noticed that a distinctive feature they had was to have a lower throat line, showing more of the instep of the foot. The toebox tended to be less pointy and sightly rounded, more almond shape. In my view this is a very versatile look which can be turned into both elegant or casual, depending on the outfit.
